Missourians are about a week away from finding out which direction the state is heading. Lake Area State Representative Doctor Lisa Thomas says that she expects Governor Mike Parson, during the State of the State address, to paint an optimistic picture for 2022…

“I think the state’s doing well, so that’s my preview of what he’s probably gonna say, obviously he’ll give us lots of details…”

Dr. Thomas also says the State of the State will be accessible across the various media and is expected to be well attended…

“It’ll be televised, it’ll be on radio, and of course we’ll be there, and I have every expectation that there will be other guests, obviously the media section is going to be packed. So we’re all intrigued to hear what the governor has to say.”

The governor’s State of the State Address is set to begin at 3:00, next Wednesday the 19th, in the house chambers.
