A program designed to streamline government services and maximize efficiency is celebrating a one-year anniversary. The Missouri Way initiative began last August. It relies on feedback from department heads and state employees who are tasked with reviewing their own day-to-day operations for ways to improve.
Governor Mike Parson praised the initiative during a special appearance on “The Ozarks Today” on KRMS. Nearly 1500 managers and supervisors have been trained under the program so far. The original goal was to have 1000 trained by the end of the first year.
