Governor Mike Parson says funding for bridge repairs across the state approved by the legislature is just the start. Mike Parson says the combined $350 million in general revenue and bond funding is just a drop in the bucket compared to what’s ultimately needed.
The state will seek to acquire matching federal funds to help stretch those dollars. Parson adds that roads and bridges are part of needed improvements to all infrastructure, including river ports, airports, and better broadband.
