Governor Mike Parson has been surveying damages from flooding that resulted not only earlier in the spring, but from recent storms as well. On Tuesday he declared a state of emergency to help recover from recent damages. It also helps the state prepare for what may be still to come.
Just hours after the Governor spoke exclusively to KRMS, tornadoes were confirmed to have hit Eldon and Jefferson City. There’s a chance of rain in the forecast again for five of the next seven days.
