Mother’s Day is also be Graduation Day for Eldon High School seniors. For the first time, graduation ceremonies are being held at Mustang Memorial Park. The facility features more than 1,700 bleacher seats, and the hillside will be available to view the graduation for those who bring their own lawn chairs. With a large crowd expected for the event, special parking provisions have been announced. School officials are advising visitors to use the overflow parking on the east side of the field. They’ll also be using the Bethany Lutheran Church and Oak Street Church of Christ lots for overflow parking, with shuttle service starting at 1:15 p.m. on Sunday.
Eldon’s high school seniors are the first in the Lake area to graduate this year. Other area districts, including Camdenton and School of the Osage, will hold graduation ceremonies this week.
