The World of Outlaws race at Lake Ozark Speedway provided a fitting end to a night held in honor of a Rocky Mount-based driver. The Jason Johnson Classic held on Saturday was a tribute to Johnson, who passed away following a wreck in 2018 during a race in Wisconsin. The tribute could not have turned out any better, as David Gravel took the checkered flag driving for Johnson’s race team. It was his 10th win of the season driving for Jason Johnson Racing. It marks the first time in 19 years that there have been three drivers with at least 10 wins on the World of Outlaws Series.
