The Gravois Arm Sewer District Board of Trustees expects to have a representative from Gravois Mills at tonight’s meeting to discuss resident complaints about sewer odors, after rainfalls. In addition, the Board may get an update from engineer Stan Schultz, who was to ask the Environmental Protection Agency about extending the one million dollar Phase III sewer grant. The start of Phase III was delayed, and the District was concerned they might not be able to use the funds by an EPA deadline of December 31st. Schultz said he was hoping to have all the necessary easements, last month. Next in the process, acquiring bonds and final design approval from the Department of Natural Resources. The board should get an update tonight at six o’clock.
