Gravois Firefighter Memorial Gets Okay from Board of Trustees

The Gravois Fire Protection District Board of Trustees gave permission for the Gravois Firefighter Memorial to be built according to the plan from the memorial committee. On property next to the main headquarters on Highway O in Laurie, there will be a concrete walkway from the parking lot, with a gazebo, flag pole and stone marker. Volunteer firefighters are continuing to raise money for the project, and a final design should be available in June.
