Gravois fire was a bit busy over the weekend. According to a statistics report from Chief Ed Hancock, they responded along with Rocky Mount to a boat fire around 4:45 Friday evening. Later that night, just before 11pm, they responded along with Sunrise Beach for a two boat collision. Both of those incidents involved injuries. That was part of an overall moderately busy weekend on the water. The water patrol also responded to an incident in which a boat hit a cliff, injuring three people just after 12:30 Saturday morning. Two people were cited for BWI, with one involving a serious injury. The water patrol also responded to a boat fire that they listed at 7:30 Friday night.
