A Gravois Mills man has plead guilty to a sex offender violation and will also stand trial on several new charges involving sex crimes with a child. Derek Haggen plead guilty to failing to comply with sex offender restrictions in place on Halloween. He was given credit for two days served and fined. He’s also waived his formal arraignment and entered a plea of not guilty in a case in which he faces thirteen charges including incest, child molestation, statutory sodomy, and statutory rape. Those alleged incidents took place in August, September, and November. A jury trial will be scheduled at a later date.
