The trial of a Gravois Mills man accused in the beating death of a Camdenton-area man over a disagreement about “huffing” in front of kids will not go on as scheduled this week. Michael Lamar Hardy, Junior, is charged in Camden County with involuntary manslaughter in connection to the July, 2016, death of Beau McCartney. The start of the trial has been postponed at least a couple other times for various reasons. The current postponement is due to the unavailability of Circuit Judge Kenneth Hayden who’s being replaced on the bench for the trial by Judge Ralph Jaynes. A pre-trial conference is now scheduled for September while the trial, itself, is now on the calendar to begin on October 22nd.
