Trustees of the Gravois Arm Sewer District along with District manager Ray Metscher met with Shultz Surveying and Engineering on Tuesday to begin work for the district’s 4th phase in the new sewer project. During the meeting they identified the 11 areas on the Westside that would benefit from the project. Presently the SSE engineers are evaluating the number of homes in the areas and will determine the exact cost to connect them to the mainline. While the original Phase 3 sewer projects cost the district $8 million, this phase is expected to cost around $4 million. The next meeting for the District will be on Monday March 4th at 6 p.m. at the District office in Gravois Mills.
