A Gravois Mills woman well known to area law enforcement is in trouble again after attempting to flee from police in Sunrise Beach. It’s alleged that 27-year old Emilie Farr had been involved in damaging a room at an area hotel on a previous occasion. As a result, the hotel operator refused to rent her a room Wednesday night. Farr and a male companion allegedly had someone else rent the room under a different name and gave them the key. When they refused to leave, law enforcement was called. As police were searching the room, they found evidence of drug activity and Farr took off on foot before hurting herself attempting to jump a ditch. Farr is charged with resisting arrest. She also has outstanding warrants on previous charges involving possessing of controlled substances and resisting.
