A traffic stop in Morgan County leads to multiple drug charges against a Gravois Mills woman. The Morgan County Sheriff’s office says on Tuesday night they initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that, earlier in the day, had eluded officers through excessive turns and speed. During a search of the vehicle and the people in it, deputies found several drugs and related items, including marijuana, prescription pills, and methamphetamine. Angela Michelle Simmons faces six counts including four felonies and two misdemeanors. The charges against her include five counts of possession of a controlled substance and one charge for possession of drug paraphernalia.
