The case of a Greenview-area woman charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action is set to return to a courtroom in mid-June.

Christine Zahn had been charged with second-degree murder until an amended complaint was filed by the attorney general’s office back in September.

It’s alleged that Zahn, who claims self-defense, shot her boyfriend in November 2018.

The case had been set to return to the courtroom last week but, like many court cases due to the COVID-19 situation, was continued and is now on the docket for a pre-trial conference on June 19th.with a jury trial, for the time being, set for the end of October.

The case is being heard in Laclede County on a change of venue from Camden County.
