Conversations about how to make driving around Camden County easier are becoming more in-depth. Presiding Commissioner Greg Hasty says one thing the county could do is implement new roadways he learned about in Scotland.
He says passing places could be a way to save money in outlying gravel roads. The estimation is that they could save around 50 percent when compared to paving the outlying roads. He also said another option could be to begin using roundabouts. These options would be easier to put into place with the special road districts the commissioners are currently working to propose.
