Grinch Arrested In Camden County – Christmas Was Saved

Thousands of kids in the Lake Area are happy after Santa Claus made his way to Lake of the Ozarks on Christmas Eve.

But it might not have happened if not for a big arrest just before Christmas Eve.

Captain Chris Twitchel with the Camden County Sheriff’s Office.

He tells KRMS News the Grinch was caught during an attempted burglary near Hwy 5.

The Grinch could be facing at least three years in the Camden County Jail.

Twitchel also says Sheriff Helmes deputized Santa Claus this year to help capture The Grinch and to make sure Santa’s annual visit could happen with no obstacles.
