Residents and visitors interested in local history are invited to Ha Ha Tonka State Park for an event on Saturday. Castle Day events will begin at 11am. Ryan King is the Natural Resources Manager at the park.
There will also be a photo walk with pictures of the estate prior to the castle fire in October of 1942, a date that King says set the future course for what is now one of the most popular parks in Missouri.
All Castle Day events are free and open to the public.
