Some parts of the Lake Area don’t have hi-speed internet, and that’s making it hard on students learning from home.
One Missouri Representative in the U-S House is taking action.
Republican Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler.
She tells KRMS News 11-hundred homes in Camden, Miller, Maries, Phelps and Pulaski counties will soon have a fiber network thanks to 14-million dollars from USDA Reconnect Program.
Hartzler also says a 9-thousand dollar grant from the CARES Act helped the Camden County Library get better internet service.
