Hazard Mitigation Meeting Thursday in Camden County

Interested citizens, first responders, public officials, and other stakeholders will get a look at the revised Hazard Mitigation Plan for Camden County Thursday. The Council of Local Governments will be holding the fourth meeting on the plan at the Mid-County Fire Protection District building on North Business 5. At that meeting they’ll present a draft copy for review by all interested parties. They’ll hold an open discussion on the draft and open an official comment period, which will last until March 30th. The plan needs to be approved and submitted to SEMA by April 1st. The meeting tomorrow will begin at 2pm.
