A bond reduction hearing for a teacher accused of sexual contact with a student has been rescheduled. Mark Edwards was originally set to appear in court on Wednesday. That hearing has now been moved to May 16th. The prosecutor, Miller County Prosecuting Attorney Ben Winfrey, has filed an amended complaint against Edwards involving another alleged incident of contact over a young child’s clothing. Edwards was a teacher in the School of the Osage District during the time of the alleged incidents. He resigned his position following his arrest in connection to this investigation.
