There’s a hearing scheduled for Wednesday on a Miller County murder case. A case review is on the agenda for Tyler Kroll, one of two Chicago men accused in the killing of Tyler Worthington of North San Juan, California. It’s alleged that the three men were involved in a ring that distributed vaping pens filled with marijuana oil and met at the Lake of the Ozarks to conduct a business deal. During that meeting, investigators allege that Worthington was shot and his body hidden near Tuscumbia. Kroll is charged with first-degree murder and is currently free on a $750,000 bond. His co-defendant in the case, Joseph McKenna, is being held in the Miller County Detention Center. The prosecution is seeking the death penalty in his case.
