Missouri High School students are being challenged to take safety seriously by participating in a statewide campaign called “It Only Takes One.” Students can win prizes for their schools while helping educate their peers about safe driving habits. The program is sponsored by the Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety and ACT Missouri. The message is that it only takes one text, one drink, one call, one reach, or one distraction to cause one fatal moment. Schools with the most creative and impactful campaigns can win prizes including grant funds. The competition will run from October 1st to the end of the year. Schools can sign up online at www.savemolives.com/itonlytakesone prior to September 30th.
