The Miller County Prosecutor has released the charges towards a man who took police on a high speed chase earlier this week. According to Prosecuting Attorney Benjamin Winfrey, Kerry Argo of Independence Missouri is being charged with one count of felony eluding or resisting arrest, a class D felony, which could land him up to 4 years in prison. He also faces charges in Moniteau and Morgan counties including Tampering in the 1st degree. Argo led law enforcement on a high speed chase down highway 52 at more than 100 Miles per hour forcing school busses and bystanders off the road. He’s being held in the Miller County jail.
