Highway Patrol Releases Final Holiday Statistics

The Highway Patrol has released their final statistics for the New Year’s holiday period that lasted from 6pm Tuesday until 11:59 Wednesday night. Statewide, there were 72 crashes with 34 injuries and 56 DWI arrests. There were no fatalities. In Troop F’s coverage area, which includes Lake of the Ozarks, they handled eight crashes with one injury. They made seven arrests for DWI and three on drug-related charges.
