A repeat drug offender from the lake area has been arrested again. 42-year old Ruth Allen of Eldon has been involved in at least four cases involving drugs in the last year and a half. She was arrested by the Highway Patrol around 6:30 Thursday night. She was picked up on a felony warrant for dangerous drugs and taken to the Miller County Jail.
The Highway Patrol has arrested a Lake Ozark man accused of having methamphetamine and a prescription pill. 35-year old Daniel K. Tafta was placed on a 24-hour hold following his arrest just after 11:00 Thursday night. Tafta faces two counts of possession of a controlled substance – one for meth and one for hydrocodone. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
A man wanted in Kansas spent the night in a Morgan County jail. 36-year old Jessie Jennings, listed as being from Eldon on the Highway Patrol report, was wanted on a felony warrant from Johnson County, Kansas. The patrol alleges that at the time of his arrest Thursday morning, Jennings was also driving on a revoked license. Jennings was taken to the Morgan County jail and ordered held without bond.
