An investigation is underway after a Kansas City area man is struck by a car while walking along Route V in Camden County.
According to the Highway Patrol, 23-year-old Griffin Eidson of Belton was walking on the southbound side of the road, when an unknown driver hit him from behind.
That driver fled is the scene.
Eidson received moderate injuries and was taken to Lake Regional for treatment.
The Patrol says if you have any information on this hit-and-run, please contact them immediately.
