A Brumley man faces several charges after being taken into custody by the highway patrol. The highway patrol report indicates that it happened shortly after 4:15 Friday afternoon. Bryan Treadway is charged with delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of 11-35 grams of marijuana, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and for not wearing a seat belt. Treadway was taken to the Miller County Jail.
It doesn’t take very long for the first couple arrests of the weekend made by the highway patrol on and off the water. Reports indicate the first happened just before 9:45 Friday night when 54-year-old Anthony Dewitt, of Gravois Mills, was stopped on the water and charged with BWI and a display light violation…he was taken to the Camden County Jail. On the roadway, just after midnight Saturday morning, 26-year-old Rachael Majors, of Columbia, was pulled over for going at least 26 miles per hour over the posted limit. Majors was also charged with DWI, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, and other traffic-related offenses…she was taken to the Miller County Jail.
