Troop “F” of the Missouri State Highway Patrol which serves the Tri-County Area had their hands full on Wednesday as they responded to three major accidents. A Versailles man was seriously injured in a one car accident on Big Buffalo Road in Morgan County. A vehicle driven by 21 year old Reed Harms of Stover traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned. A passenger, 28 year old Christopher Whitlock was seriously injured while Harms received moderate injuries. A two car accident on Highway 5 in Camden County on Wednesday morning landed a senior citizen in the hospital. 87 year old Oltie Mitchell was seriously injured after his car struck a vehicle in the rear driven by 60 year old Caroline Goodson of Camdenton as Goodson was attempting to make a left turn. A three car accident on Old South Highway 5 resulted in minor injuries for a Stoutland man. 59 year old Larry Hammond was waiting to make a left turn into a parking lot when a vehicle driven by 52 year old Dana Gardner of Linn Creek struck the rear of Hammond’s car and pushed it into an oncoming vehicle driven by 47 year old Brian Bolz of Camdenton. Hammond received minor injuries.
