Plans to realign TT, MM and F are moving forward after a grant application is completed by the Lake of the Ozarks Council of Local Governments.
The $14,000,000+ plan would create a new straighter road in the hopes of connecting the Lake of the Ozarks Community Bridge and Route 242 to Highway 5 in Sunrise Beach. Council of Local Governments Chairman Chuck Chorpening says the Tiger 3 grant application will eventually go to the U.S. Department of Transportation after it makes its way through the state.
Monday’s meeting did not have a quorum, a fact that Chorpening says is unfortunate due to the access that attendance provides.
The council is made up of representatives from Laclede, Camden, Morgan and Miller counties.
