The Highway Patrol reports at least eight arrests in the lake area so far for the holiday. Those were the latest numbers as of early Monday morning. Five of those came on Sunday. One person has been cited for a controlled substance. Five have been charged with BWI. The water patrol has also issued three citations for not displaying navigational lights, and four for not having a boater safety card. Four of the people arrested have been from out of state. Two others have been from outside the tri-county lake region. We’ll have the final rundown from the holiday period when it’s released by the Highway Patrol.
