Holiday Weekend Nets 700 Calls For Camden Sheriff’s Office

The holiday weekend proving to be a busy one for lake area authorities.

Captain Chris Twitchel of the Camden County Sheriff’s Department says they received 774 calls for service over the three-day period. There were also 54 people booked into the jail over that same time period.

Property damage, drug calls and traffic-related offenses…including DWI’s… dominated reports for the holiday weekend.
