The number of people arrested by the highway patrol at the Lake over the holiday weekend continued to climb on Sunday. As of late afternoon, the highway patrol reported 14 people arrested since the official counting period began at 6:00 Friday night. Ten of the 14 were taken in for DWI on the roadways and three people for BWI on the water with one minor arrested for being intoxicated. The one boat wreck reported, so far, resulted in 41-year-old Cletus Barsch, of St. Joseph, being arrested for BWI serious injury. There have been two car wrecks, so far. Alcohol, apparently, was not a factor in either one. The official counting period comes to an end at 11:59 Monday night.
