A massive recall is underway on a popular breakfast cereal. Kellog is recalling Honey Smacks sold in 15.3-ounce and 23-ounce packages due to possible links to salmonella contamination. Affected packages have “best by” dates of June14, 2018 through June 14 of 2019. The UPC code is 380-001-4810. So far, over 70 people have gotten sick and 24 have been hospitalized across 31 states and other international distribution points. If you have a box of Honey Smacks included in the recall, take a picture of the upc code and best-by dates, discard the box, and contact Kellogg for a full refund.
