Hostage Situation in Eldon Still Under Investigation

Several people are in custody after a home invasion in Eldon.  Police say early on Tuesday morning; they received a report that a man was being held against his will at a home by suspects that were armed with guns. Officers responded but no one would answer the door.  Police backed off and set up a perimeter.  Missouri Highway Patrol troopers and Miller County Sheriff’s deputies arrived to assist.  As officers were getting ready to enter the home, several people came out of the home.  Police say the investigation is ongoing.
