Missouri’s Hot Weather Rules in effect. It bars disconnection of your electric service, when the temperature is forecast to exceed 95 degrees or when the heat index is forecast to exceed 105 degrees. This applies no matter where you live in the state or who your electricity provider is. If a representative of your utility tries to turn off your service remind them of the law, and immediately call the Missouri Public Service Commission at 1-800-392-4211.
