The U.S. Social Security office in Lebanon will start closing early due to budget cuts. Starting on August the 15th, the Lebanon office will be open from 9 in the morining until 3:30 in the afternoon Monday through Friday, a change from the previous schedule of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Agency employees will still work their regular hours but public interaction will be reduced in the hopes of preventing overtime. Nationwide Social Security saw a one billion dollar reduction in its budget.
