House Burns Down In Eldon

Several local fire departments responded to a house fire Wednesday near Eldon in Miller County. Crews were dispatched to 5 Reed Lane on the west side of Eldon and upon arrival found heavy smoke coming from the garage. The blaze then spread to the main floor and the roof collapsed as firefighters were combating the flames. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire remains under investigation. The Moreau Fire Department was assisted in putting out the blaze by four other local departments including Eldon, Lake Ozark, Rocky Mount, and Tuscumbia.
