Last year, Lake area residents and businesses were asked about their broadband internet service. The findings of that study were released at a town hall meeting conducted by the the Lake of the Ozarks Council of Local Governments in Camdenton. Damon Porter is Director of the state’s “MoBroadbandNow” initiative:
The goal is to come up with a plan to increase broadband access to reach 95 percent of the state’s population. Porter says that number is currently under 80 percent:
