The November portion of fall firearms season yielded a much larger return than last year. According to the Department of Conservation, hunters bagged a near-record 199,427 deer between November 10th and 20th. That total included nearly 103,000 antlered bucks. In the lake region, Morgan County led the way with 2878 deer harvested, followed by 2133 in Miller County and 2050 in Camden County. The record for a single season was set in 2012 at more than 204,000 deer.
