The Missouri State Highway Patrol has released the locations where they plan to hold boat registration verifications and inspections for area residents and vacationers at the Lake of the Ozarks. According to captain Michael Turner, There will be 4 different locations throughout the year. The verification station on May 1st, June 5th, July 3rd and August 7th will be located at Public Beach # 2 at the Lake of the Ozark’s state park. Additionally there will be a verification location at the Camden County Courthouse on May 15th and August 21st along with the Laurie Police department on June 19th and the Eldon police department on July 27th. Turner reminds citizens that Missouri Law requires all motorized vessels over 12 ft to have proper licenses and registered tags with the state before operating the vessel.
