I-44 and 5 Improvements

Improvements to the interchange of Interstate 44 and Route 5 will take place later this year following the award of a $1,865,573.24 contract by the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission. The 1.8 million was the low bid. APAC-Missouri was the low bid winner and was awarded the contract to make not only intersection improvements but also provide pedestrian access to the entrance and exit ramps from I-44 at the Route 5 intersection. The contractor will begin construction mid summer 2012 and will finish in fall.
