An Iberia man already facing charges for drugs has been arrested for the second time this month. 39-year old Justin Barnett was charged with possession of a controlled substance on December 16th after an encounter with the Highway Patrol. Part of his bond at that time required him to consent to a search of his person or any vehicle he was in at the request of any law enforcement officer. The Highway Patrol stopped him again last night in Miller County and found drugs during the subsequent search. Barnett was arrested just before midnight and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, speeding, and no seat belt.
