Authorities may be close to making some arrests in a series of thefts that have hit rural farms and businesses in Miller and three other counties. Sheds and out buildings have been targeted with tens of thousands of dollars of tools and equipment taken. The thefts started in July. Law enforcement say deer cameras have captured faces of the suspects and also license plate numbers. These leads and others could soon be leading to arrests. Residents in Miller, Callaway, Cole and Boone counties are reminded to lock their sheds and also put locks on their trailers.
