The investigation remains ongoing following police involved fatal shooting in Sedalia.
Last Saturday, 25-year-old Hannah Fizer was shot and killed by a Pettis County Deputy during a traffic stop on US 50.
The deputy claims Fizer had a gun and was threatening him, however the Highway Patrol’s most recent report indicates they did not find any weapons.
Family and Friends have already spoken out about the incident, saying Fizer was not the kind of girl to carry a gun and likely had her cellphone in her hand.
On Thursday, hundreds took to the streets downtown to protest the shooting.
The deputy is currently on paid administrative leave.
I have law enforcement experience. You would never just shoot someone because they said they had a gun. Sometimes wouldn’t shoot even if you saw it. This deputy should be fired and have all qualifications to work at any Department stripped from him. If the sheriff has people like this working in his Department and I know he has a lot of flat out assholes, good luck getting re-elected. I won’t vote for you.
