Investigation Underway After Abandoned Boat Is Found Under Toll Bridge

The operator of a boat that crashed near the 15.9 mile marker of the Main Channel Tuesday night might be hurt.

Corporal Brian Geier (Guy-er) with the Missouri Highway Patrol.

He tells KRMS News they’re looking for the operator of the boat, who ran away after the crash.

Guyer says the boat that crashed was a 42 Fountain and it was about 15 feet from the water.

He also says they believe they have identified the operator, but there’s no word on an arrest.
