The Missouri Department of Economic Development has approved over a million dollars in tax credit for five Missouri food banks including the Ivy Bend Community Food Pantry in Stover. The five food banks will receive a total of nearly $1.1 million dollars under the neighborhood assistance program. The Ivy Bend Food Pantry has been approved for over $215 thousand dollars of that amount. The N.A.P. helps not for profit organizations raise funds by providing partial state tax credits to businesses that make contributions to approved community improvement projects.
