Wonderland Camp has a new executive director.

Officials say Jill Wilke, RN is taking the rein for 2021.

Wilke is the granddaughter of the founder of the camp, Charles Miller.

The camp, based at Lake of the Ozarks, has served children, teens and adults with disabilities since the 1960’s.

It was one of many facilities that had to halt activities in 2020 due to the COVID 19 Pandemic.

Wilke says their first priority for 2021 is to make sure the camp can open in a safe and secure manner.

Wonderland camp typically sees around 1,000 campers for 11 weeks during the summertime.
