Students attending Joel E Barber school in Lebanon won’t be starting school until September 8th.

That decision follows the emergency board meeting held Thursday.

It’s due to the outbreak of COVID 19 that occurred during the summer school program.

Superintendent Rachelle Jennings says there is also a provision requiring staff to quarantine for a least a week before entering the building if they travel in excess of 50 miles the weekend before school starts.
