Kansas City Man Pleads Guilty In Camden County Meth Case

A Kansas City Man is pleading guilty to his role in a conspiracy to distribute methamphetamines in Camden County.

35-year-old Stephen Sanchez pleaded guilty before a Federal Court according to the US Department of Justice.

Court records show Sanchez was arrested at a Camdenton hotel on October 31st of 2017, after an officer responded to a report of a man tampering with a car in the parking lot.

Sanchez was found on the ground with a bag of marijuana and over $8,000 in cash.

Police eventually discovered over 158 grams of Meth and a cellphone in a bag in Sanchez’s hotel room.

Under terms of the Plea agreement, Sanchez could face up to 10 years in federal prison without parole and he must forfeit the money seized.
